I have continued to work to connect Japanese culture to the future. I am also extremely grateful for the opportunities I have had to allow customers to experience Japanese aesthetics through the uniform designs of Hoshinoya Kyoto and pop-up shops in various department stores.
The year 2025, my zodiac sign, the snake, is said to symbolize "rebirth" and "wisdom."
Thanks to you, Solework has reached its 28th year, and in this milestone year, I will strengthen my message to the world more than ever before.
We will strive to build a bridge of peace where Japanese culture and the cultures of other countries resonate with each other.
I want design to be more than just clothing; it should be a means of connecting people and cultures.
I hope this year will be one that opens up new possibilities for you all.
